Creating Sparks Goal is to inspire and empower youth to build confidence, become great leaders, gain life skills, pursue entrepreneurship, build community, learn emotional intelligence..., and learn to serve others. We want to create so many sparks within many communites that it turns into a global flame.

For each youth to have a willingness to serve others, be self-confident, empowered to lead, the ability to control their emotions, financially educated and the access to resources... for entrepreneurship and education.

Latrivia Guinn CEO and founder grew up in this small town and was affected by so many of the challenges our youth face. She ran away at age 14, dropped out of school ...and had a teenage pregnancy. She got married, went back to school to obtain her LVN, RN, BSN, MSN-ed, and PMHNP-bc. She wanted to give a spark of hope to the youth in her community to know they can change as well. What started off as a six week program turned into a 9 month program that culminated with an annual banquet of crowning the youth. In 12/2021 another chapter was started in Kampala Uganda. And in 4/2022 a 3rd chapter was started in Iganga, Uganda.
